英國倫敦警方，日前接到一戶人家撥打「九九九」緊急報案電話，卻沒有回應，緊急派人前往查看，敲了門之後也沒人，警方怕出事，於是立即破門而入，逐屋搜索，結果什麼都沒看到，只看到一隻小貓躲在臥室門邊。

屋主回家之後，赫然發現自己的家門外，有許多警力戒護，嚇了一大跳，以為發生什麼事，瞭解之後，他才想到，或許是自己一向愛搗蛋的小貓，不但把電話撩起來，而且還按了九九九，才造成這場誤會。警方後來要這名男子好好教育貓，而這名男子也損失了家中大門，要花一大筆錢來更換。
